NMCG was founded by Niamh McGovern
After graduating with a BA in Fashion Design, McGovern gained experience working with designers including Sinéad O’Dwyer, Sharon Wauchob, SML London, Ancuta Sarca, Rebecca Tembo, and Richard Quinn. Based between Dublin and London, NMCG creates handmade, made-to-order garments. Every piece begins with a story, with craftsmanship at the heart of how that story is expressed.
The brand grows slowly and deliberately, prioritising independent, considered development over trends. Every collection is crafted to resonate with those who engage with the story behind the garment, creating pieces that are meaningful, enduring, and thoughtfully made.
DESIGN & PRODUCTION
Design & Production at NMCG is guided by intention, precision, and respect for the craft. Each piece is thoughtfully developed from concept to completion, with every stage approached as part of a wider narrative. Designs are shaped through a balance of experimentation and technical expertise, informed by experience gained across both independent and established fashion houses.
Working on a made-to-order basis, the brand embraces a slower, more responsible approach to production—minimising waste while allowing for a deeper connection between garment and wearer. Handmade in limited quantities, each piece reflects a commitment to quality, individuality, and enduring design, ensuring that every creation holds both purpose and presence.
